Gábor Nagy and Alexandra Nádas joint exhibition at Kiss Kunszt Gallery

An exhibition of the renowned artist couple Gábor Nagy and Alexandra Nádas opened in the Kiss Kunszt Gallery in Szeged last week. The artist couple offers a glimpse into their private and professional lives with the joint exhibition.

Alexandra Nádas is an accomplished, Barcsay and Príma Prize winner graphic artist and painter. She has showcased her work in over 70 solo exhibitions and 600 group exhibitions in Hungary and internationally since 1996. Actively participating in art fairs and residencies, her pieces are prominently featured in public collections across Hungary. Nádas' primary theme centers on capturing the essence of women's identity throughout history, integrating art historical references into her work.

Gábor Nagy, a Munkácsy Prize-winning painter, is considered the leading figure in contemporary Hungarian art. His artwork is featured in the Ludwig Collection, the Hungarian National Gallery, and the MUMOK in Vienna. Nagy draws inspiration primarily from sacred motifs in the Old Testament and aims to visually capture the cultural common denominator. In addition to paintings, he also creates sculptures and furniture.

The exhibition is free to visit and will be on display at Kiss Kunszt Gallery until November 2, 2024.
