Mission Statement

The Szegedify online magazine’s mission is to serve as a bridge between Szeged city’s outstanding possibilities and the wider international community. 

The city of sunshine has a long reputation for having a very welcoming atmosphere. Situated at a triple country border, Szeged is not only an important transit, tourist and cultural hub, but home to one of the best universities in Hungary, and the base of multiple international companies.

The magazine wants to reach out and welcome all visitors and international residents of the city.

The Szegedify magazine will serve the wider international community by featuring local news and articles related to Szeged and its close surroundings. Next to highlighting the programs in and near Szeged, we will provide a database with links to the most important services from banking to healthcare, education, and more. 

Szegedify’s mission is to support Szeged and the local community by showcasing the city's cafés, restaurants, artists, educators, entrepreneurs, charity initiatives, and many more.

The magazine is written in English and follows the principles of ethical journalism.

The Szegedify online magazine follows values like equality, understanding, acceptance, tolerance and social justice.

We promote nature conservation and sustainability and make an effort to run the magazine with the least ecological footprint possible.
