University of Szeged announces first Online Open Day of 2023

 

The University of Szeged (SZTE) holds an interactive online open day for international students on March 9, 2023. During the event, students can get to learn about the University of Szeged, its international rankings, the Faculties, and the programs offered for international students. There will be short presentations about the Coursera Lighthouse 2.0 program, as well as about student life, and the city of Szeged itself.

The event will be held on Zoom, and registration is compulsory. Those registering for the online open day will have the possibility to talk with SZTE International Relations staff, Faculty representatives, and also with current students of the university in one of the dedicated chat rooms.

Program:

13:00 - Welcome greetings

13:05 - Get to know the University of Szeged. General information about the city, the university campus, the programs offered, the international rankings of SZTE, and student life.

13:20 - Coursera for SZTE. Information about the Lighthouse 2.0 agreement, which allows all students and staff of the University of Szeged to have unlimited access to Coursera's online learning platform.

13:30 - Chat with the Faculty representatives. Participating students can enter the dedicated chat room of the Faculty they are most interested in and get their questions answered by admission coordinators and other representatives of that Faculty.

14:30 - Meet SZTE students. Participants of the online open day will be able to meet current international students of the University of Szeged virtually. SZTE students will talk about, and answer questions regarding the international student community, and student life in Szeged.

15:30 - Wrap up and closing remarks
