Sehenswert 2022: German-language Film Festival at Belvárosi Mozi Szeged

The Swiss Embassy, the Austrian Cultural Forum, and the Goethe Institute are organizing the Sehenswert Film Festival, a screening of German-language films in Hungary, for the 11th time in 2022.

This year, eleven new films will be shown in various parts of Hungary - four in Szeged -, several of which report on the emancipation efforts of women in Vienna, Berlin, and among the Swiss mountains from 1897 to the present day. Others talk about the difficulties faced by members of the LGBTQ community, as well as the struggles of immigrants trying to find their place in Western society.

The Sehenswert Film Festival is held in Budapest, Pécs, Szeged, and Debrecen. While the festival is already screening in Budapest, it will arrive in other cities later. In Szeged, Sehenswert films will be screened between October 17-20.

All films will be screened in their original language, with Hungarian subtitles.

For the list of films and screening times in Szeged, check the website of Belvárosi Mozi. For more information about the festival visit the website of Goethe Institut.
