Press photo exhibition at SZTE Rector's Building

Press photo exhibition at the University of Szeged

A press photo exhibition of SZTE's photojournalists opened in the university's main building on Monday, October 3. Through the photo series of Anna Bobkó, István Sahin-Tóth, and Dóra Molnár, visitors can gain insight into the life of the University of Szeged.

The 22 photo reports contain 109 images, many were taken in laboratories and other areas that are not open to visitors. Anna Bobkó, deputy head of press relations at SZTE Directorate of International and Public Relations emphasized that the exhibition aims to draw attention to the work of the university's press office.

Approximately 18,000 pieces of news about the University of Szeged appear in various national media each year, of which nearly 6,000 are directly related to the work of the university's press office.

Each photo report was prepared for a newspaper article or announcement about the University of Szeged. The QR codes completing the photo captions take visitors to the University's website to read the article related to the given photo report (in Hungarian).

The press photo exhibition is free to visit in the Rector's Building on Dugonics Square until December 20, every workday from 8 am to 8 pm.

The exhibition launch was part of the official opening ceremony of SZTE's 26th Autumn Cultural Festival.
