7th Szeged Charity Half Marathon

The 7th Szeged Charity Half Marathon, organized by Pulzus Szeged Futóklub SE and ProgRun, will be held on November 27. The proceeds of the event will support SOS children who - for various reasons - cannot live with their parents.

Both the start and the finish line will be at Erzsébet Liget, Újszeged. Participants can choose between:

  • Snowflake Kids' 500 m: for children between 2 and 6 years, accompanied by an adult

  • Snowball Kids' 1K: for kids between 7 and 15 years

  • Snowman 3K

  • Santa Claus 6K

  • Snowstorm 10K

  • Avalanche Half Marathon

  • Penguin 2-person Half Marathon Relay

  • Yeti 4-person Half Marathon Relay

On 6K, 10K, and the half marathons, runners have to reach the finish line by 1 p.m. at the latest. A cyclist follows the last runners to ensure that everyone keeps up with the race time. Those overtaken by the cyclist have to take off their start numbers and acknowledge that they are disqualified from the race.

Pre-registration can be made online on ProgRun's website. On-site registration will be available on November 26, between 13:30 - 16:00, and on the morning of the race, on November 27, from 7:30 until 15 minutes before the start of the chosen distance.

For registration fees, age limits, requirements of the virtual half marathon, starting times, and other details, check out the event on Facebook, or at progrun.hu (in Hungarian).
