University of Szeged Autumn Job Fair 2022

64 exhibitors and hundreds of visitors attended the University of Szeged Autumn Job Fair yesterday, October 18, at the SZTE József Attila Study and Information Center.

Those interested could gather information about open internship positions, job offers, and future opportunities. Visitors could get to know employers' expectations and find out what to improve in to have the best possible chance in the world of work as a recent graduate.

The event was opened by Prof. Dr. Márta Széll, strategic vice-rector of the University of Szeged. As she pointed out, the SZTE Job Fair has been the largest job search forum in the Southern Great Plain for a long time now.

"Thanks to the institutional development strategy of recent years, we are now one of the best Hungarian universities, and we are also among the most prestigious higher education centers in Europe. This greatly increases the value of the diplomas we issue, as employers know that the knowledge and professional preparation of our students will meet their expectations." - she added.

Prof. Széll also highlighted that the trust in the university is not only the result of the recognition of the international rating companies and the favorable statistics but also of the fruitful collaborations that the University of Szeged has managed to build with its professional partners over the last few years.

After the opening speech, the strategic vice-rector of SZTE handed over the title of Favorite Exhibitor of the Spring 2022 SZTE Job Fair, which was awarded to Roche based on the visitors' votes. The award was accepted by András Péter, head of Roche Operative HR.
