UPDATE, February 15: Due to overcast sky, the sidewalk astronomy session at Móra Ferenc Museum is cancelled again. This program ended.

Szeged Observatory - Szegedi Csillagvizsgáló in Hungarian - invites for a Valentine's Day sidewalk astronomy session on Monday, February 14, from 6:30 p.m.

The Observatory will have telescopes set up at the following two locations in Szeged:

  1. On the rooftop of Törpe Pub.

  2. In front of Móra Ferenc Múzeum. This location will only be part of the event in case of a clear sky. In case of bad weather on Monday, the astronomers will postpone the event to Tuesday, February 15. Again, the sidewalk astronomy session at this location is only possible in case of a clear sky.

The sidewalk astronomy event is dependent on the weather, please check the updates of Szeged Observatory on the event's Facebook page or our update on the Szegedify Facebook page on Monday morning.
