The Hungarian team won the bronze medal in Short Track Speed Skating Mixed Team Relay on February 5. The finals were not without excitement, as the Hungarian team came in fourth due to a collision with a Canadian skater.

After examining the video footage, the jury decided to penalize Canada, giving the bronze to Hungary.

Two members of the Hungarian Speed Skating Team, Petra Jászapáti, and Zsófia Kónya are from Szeged.

In the Short Track Speed Skating Mixed Team Relay finals, China got first place, and Italy got second place.
