Researchers' Night returns to SZTE with over 400 programs
This year, the University of Szeged will once again offer an exciting and varied program at the Researchers' Night, which will take place on September 27-28. The event aims to bring the world of science closer to the public and to showcase the beauty of a research career, the University of Szeged announced in a press release.
The 2024 event will feature over 400 activities, including laboratory visits, demonstrations, scientific experiments, and lectures. Researchers, lecturers, and students from the University of Szeged will personally present the latest results in their fields. Visitors will have the opportunity to observe exciting experiments.
Almost all the faculties of the SZTE will be represented at the event with a wide range of programs, such as an international dance evening by Choreomundus, a playhouse for young archaeologists, an English-language boiler room tour in TIK, 3D printing and telemedicine in medicine, and a "PhysShow" featuring Ferenc Ignácz's most spectacular experiments.
The SZTE Kutatók Éjszakája mobile application helps users navigate through the hundreds of programs available at the event. It serves as a digital program booklet, providing basic information about the programs including descriptions, dates, locations, lecturers, and registration details. Users can also save interesting presentations in a separate list for easy access. The app includes a map and search function to make it easier to browse event locations and related programs. The "SZTE Kutatók Éjszakája" mobile app is available for free download from both the Apple Store and Google Play.
