One hundred legendary Mercedes cars in Szeged
Approximately 100 different classic Mercedes cars, selected from the productions of the past 60 years, will be together in one place for the first time in Hungary at the Szeged Pick Arena on April 20 and 21. The Classic Car Show & Expo, a two-day unique exhibition will bring a small slice of Mercedes's Stuttgart base to Hungary, according to the organizer's press release.
During the Classic Car Show & Expo in Szeged one hundred legendary cars — beautiful rarities, including former cars of celebrities — will be on display on five thousand square meters in the Academic Hall of the Pick Arena.
The vehicles on display will "tell" unique stories to the visitors, and among them will be several cars of which only a few collector's items are left in the world. The S-class W140 of the first president of Hungary after the change of regime will also be on display.
"We wanted to create an exhibition that brings together lovers of classic cars and brand fanatics, where the passion of the present meets the passion of the beginning," said Dániel Kovács, press spokesman for the event and president of the Southern Great Plains MB Club.
Among the cars of the expo, such beauties as the W186 Adenauer, W128 Ponton, W111 cabrio, W126 sedan, W198 Gullwing, W113 Pagoda, R107 cabrio, W114 sedan, W201 sedan, G professional, Maybach X223, hypersport GTR cabrio or the W123 Pullman will be on display too.
Accompanying events include the Retro Car Market and a live auction, among others. The organizers also revealed that every visitor who purchases a ticket gets a chance to win a 3-day Mercedes-Benz dream trip to Stuttgart for 2 people.
