King's Singers returns to Szeged
The two-time Grammy-winner a cappella group, King's Singers, returns to Szeged to perform at the Pick Aréna on January 18, 2024.
King's Singers, together with the Kodály Philharmonic, will perform in three Hungarian cities: Budapest, Debrecen, and Szeged. The concert series, titled When You Wish Upon a Star, will feature a selection of the best-known and most popular animated film scores to commemorate Disney's 100th birthday.
King's Singers was formed in 1968, when six choral scholars from King's College, Cambridge, gave a concert at Queen Elizabeth Hall in London. The group has been a regular performer on the world's greatest stages ever since, with all of their concerts accompanied by a full house and big success.
The current formation includes Patrick Dunachie (countertenor), Edward Button (countertenor), Julian Gregory (tenor), Christopher Bruerton (baritone), Nick Ashby (baritone), and Jonathan Howard (bass).
King's Singers will perform at the Pick Aréna in Szeged on Thursday, January 18, starting at 6:30 p.m. For tickets and more information visit the organizer's website.
