13th Psychart24 Art Marathon at the University of Szeged

The 13th Psychart24 painting marathon will be held at the SZTE József Attila Education Center (TIK) in Szeged from noon on Friday, September 29, until noon on Saturday, September 30, 2023.

All equipment for painting is provided free of charge and everyone is welcome to join the art marathon during these 24 hours.

Psychart24, a successful anti-stigma program of the Moravcsik Foundation, offers a safe place for free creation, where people with mental illnesses can paint side-by-side with people who do not suffer from the same conditions. The program is an opportunity to experience the joy of creation and the ability to create value and strengthen mutual acceptance.

From year to year, the event brings together patients and healthy people, adults and children, amateurs, hobbyists, and professional artists Hungary-wide to create in an environment free of prejudices. This year, Psychart24 will be held in 6 cities: Budapest, Debrecen, Szeged, Pécs, Sopron, and Kecskemét.

Following the art marathon, a traveling exhibition, showcasing artworks selected by an expert jury, will open at the end of 2023. The first exhibition will be shown at the Budapest Art Brut Gallery.

Location: SZTE József Attila Education and Information Center, Szeged, Ady tér 10.

Time: September 29, 12:00 - September 30, 12:00

Entrance after registration on the spot. Participation is free.
