Tram tracks partially closed until end of August

A track closure between Anna-kút and Szeged vasútállomás stations starts on August 6 and will stay in place predictably until August 27., affecting tram-train No. 1 and tram No.2 services.

Tram replacement buses with the marking "1-2" run on the affected section.

During this period, tram-trains run between Hódmezővásárhely and Anna-kút, and tram No. 2 runs between Európa liget and Anna-kút.

Traveling to Szeged railway station, at Anna-kút, you can get on the replacement service No. 1-2 at the Anna-kút (Tisza L. krt.) tram stop on Tisza Lajos Boulevard.

Combined tram and tram-train replacement buses marked 1-2 heading to the Szeged railway station (Szeged vasútállomás) stop at the trolley bus stop at Széchenyi Square and on Bécsi Boulevard at the temporary bus stop in Oldal Street. The Bem utca stop is temporarily suspended.

The replacement services heading towards Anna-kút depart from the temporary bus stop on Galamb Street at the Szeged railway station and stop at the bus stop on Széchenyi Square. The Galamb utca tram stop is temporarily suspended.

Both the tram heading towards Európa liget and the tram train to Hódmezővásárhely railway station can be boarded at their original stop on Kossuth Lajos Avenue.

Tickets are valid for travel along the entire length of the line. If you transfer from or to the replacement buses, the ticket must be validated on the other side as well.

During the track closure period, between Hódmezővásárhely and Anna-kút, the tram-train runs with a temporary schedule, departing every 30 minutes.

Between Anna-kút and Szeged railway stations, night-time tram-trains are replaced with a bus signed 1V, departing every 60 minutes.

Note that bicycles cannot be transported on replacement buses.
