SZINkópé Kids’ Festival 2023

SZINkópé, the summer-ending and season-opening festival of the Kövér Béla Puppet Theater of Szeged will take place on September 2-3, 2023, at the building of the puppet theater.

The SZINkópé festival will be organized for the third time in 2023 and offer more than 10 programs in two days. Kövér Béla Puppet Theater is preparing for the event with three of its own performances, including a puppet concert and the popular Kuflik puppet show.

As usual, families with smaller and bigger children both can find suitable performances in the repertoire of the festival.

Guest performers include Griff Puppet Theater from Zalaegerszeg with an interactive playground, Bábakalács Puppet Theater with the world's smallest circus, and the HolddalaNap Band, among others. In addition to the main programs, puppet making, a music carpet, and other experiences await the children.

Note that the language of the programs is Hungarian but due to the nature of puppetry, most performances can be enjoyed without knowledge of the language.
