Salami inspired art exhibition at Magyar Ede Square

An open-air exhibition, with graphic illustrations inspired by the memories and feelings generated by the Pick salami, is on display in front of the Reök Palace in Szeged.

The more than 150-year-old Pick salami — probably the most famous food product of Szeged — has accompanied the lives of generations, both in and outside of Hungary. The art project, aimed at capturing the feelings and memories generated by Szeged's famous salami, was a collaboration of the REÖK all-arts center, the Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design, and Pick.

The 24 unique illustrations can be seen in front of Reök, at Magyar Ede Square, until July 31, 2023.
