BIDF Budapest International Documentary Festival 2023 screenings at Cinema City Szeged

A selection of the 2023 Budapest International Documentary Festival films will be screened at Cinema City Szeged, at Szeged Plaza, between January 26-29. BIDF is a competition festival for the best documentaries from all over the world and in 2023 it is held for the 9th time, with screenings in Budapest and major cities across Hungary. The jury consists of leading international and Hungarian artists and creators.

The theme of the 2023 documentary festival is "Respect life! Don't kill!"

The seven selected documentaries of BIDF 2023 Szeged will be screened in their original language, with Hungarian and English subtitles.

BIDF 2023 Szeged opens with the first screening on Thursday, January 26, at 5:30 p.m. After some of the films, the audience will have the opportunity to talk with the film's ambassadors and experts in the field. These round table talks will be in Hungarian.
