University of Szeged 26th Autumn Cultural Festival

The 26th Autumn Cultural Festival of the University of Szeged takes place between October 1 and November 17. The 7-week-long all-arts festival, organized by the Cultural Office of the SZTE Directorate of International and Public Relations, hosts 300 programs at 60 different locations this year.

The programs of the event cover a wide variety of genres and offer program opportunities for all age groups and interests. In addition to the diversity of genres, sophistication, value transmission, and community building based on cultural experiences are all important aspects of the festival.

Some of the programs are free to visit, others require an entrance fee. The complete list of events - in Hungarian - can be downloaded here.

Note: The language of the festival is Hungarian. Szegedify will publish news about those programs of the 26th Autumn Cultural Festival that are not necessarily language-dependent like concerts, exhibitions, dance programs, etc. For regular updates, be sure to follow us on Instagram or Facebook.

The official opening programs of the festival will take place on October 3. Pre-festival programs start tomorrow, September 29, with the International Coffee Day coffee fiesta and a folk dance night.
