6th Zsigmond Vilmos Film Festival at Belvárosi Mozi Szeged
The 6th Zsigmond Vilmos Film Festival takes place at Belvárosi Mozi Szeged from Tuesday, May 24, to Saturday, May 28.
The Zsigmond Vilmos Film Festival draws attention to the work of acclaimed cinematographers, and at the same time gives young artists an opportunity to present their work.
The festival also focuses on the life and art of Vilmos Zsigmond. Every year, a selection of his films, as well as documentaries and interviews with and about him are part of the festival to give a retrospective of his work.
Accompanying events and programs include workshops for professionals, open lectures, Q&As with artists and film critics, discussions about education in film and cinematography, as well as exhibitions and concerts.
This year, free open-air screenings will take place on May 26-27-28 at Széchenyi Square.
