May Day celebration in Szeged

After two years, May Day celebration (Szegedi Majális) returns to Szeged with various programs, food and drink vendors, and an amusement park.

The main location will be in Erzsébet Liget, where programs already start on Friday, April 29, and end on Sunday, May 1. A second location, the Zápor-tó, will host programs on Sunday only.

The Szeged May Day celebration weekend kicks off in Erzsébet Liget on Friday at 4 p.m. with DJ Neti. Saturday offers different concerts and dance performances, with the first program starting at 11 a.m.

On Sunday, the program starts at 10 a.m. After various dance performances, the afternoon and the evening offers different concerts, with the main attraction starting at 7 p.m.
