First English Stand-up Comedy Night in Szeged

UPDATE, March 31, 11:45 a.m.: Sarastro Café closes down, however, it will still be open for tonight’s program.

On Thursday, March 31, Sarastro Café will host the first English language Stand-up Comedy Night in Szeged.

Hungarian, French, Austrian, and English comedians will take to the stage at Sarastro, bringing professional stand-up comedy in English to the city of sunshine. 

The line-up is full of regular performers from the capital's lively comedy scene. Dániel Said, for example, is a staple of the English comedy nights in Budapest. He started performing in English and Hungarian 10 years ago and appears regularly in TV shows.

Kitti Nagy already had shows in London, Berlin, Antwerp, and Ljubljana, and is a regular performer of the comedy scene in Budapest. She performs in English and Hungarian and was a finalist at the 2021 Comedy Central Hungary talent show. 

French entertainer Noé Bex is considered one of the most talented comedians in Budapest. He performs in English and Hungarian. Noé won the third position at the 2021 Comedy Central Hungary talent show.

Full line-up includes Patrik Tóth, Albert Ertl, Péter Takács, and Ed J W Butler.
