13th CafeBar Bazaar specialty coffee and bar expo next weekend at Millenáris Budapest

The 2023 CafeBar Bazaar (KávéBár Bazár) will take place in Budapest, on April 1-2, at the Millenáris.

Hungary's largest coffee and bar-themed expo will host nearly fifty exhibitors, and showcase the most modern equipment and machinery, as well as the latest innovations of Hungarian roasters.

Visitors can taste various specialty coffees, wines, beers, spirits, and other drinks throughout the day and listen to presentations from coffee experts (in Hungarian).

Hungarian barista champion Attila Molnár and CHEMEX will present the result of their recent collaboration, the ChemAer, a coffee maker and aerator that was developed for a wider audience. Sports coach Shane Tusup will make a debut with Black Diamond coffee and gin at CafeBar Bazaar 2023.

Various demonstrations, cuppings, masterclasses, and competitions will accompany the event on both days. On Saturday, professional baristas will compete during the Pro Cup Tasters Championship and the winner will be flown to Athens for the World of Coffee expo in June.

The Amateur Cup Tasters Championship takes place on Sunday and is held for non-professional but experienced cup-tasting competitors according to professional rules.

Baristas will create creative drinks and pour the perfect latte using a plant-based alternative to milk at the ALPRO Plant-Based Coffee Championship on Sunday.
