Day of Hungarian Painting 2022

In celebration of the Day of Hungarian Painting, October 18, more than a hundred exhibitions await those interested throughout the country and beyond the borders during the 20th Day of Hungarian Painting program series until mid-November. This year's main exhibition is the Live Hungarian Painting in Szolnok.

The goal of one of the country's largest series of fine arts events is to draw attention to the importance, tasks, and values of contemporary painting and art - organizers announced at the press conference of the series of events on Monday in Budapest.

Painter György Verebes, president of the Magyar Festeszet Napja Foundation, and head of the Szolnok Art Camp said: the event series consists of three pillars. In addition to the foundation's own organized programs, events take place at several prominent locations, and many people joined the program series, which includes around 150 events in more than 40 settlements, from all over the country and beyond the borders.
