Grasahu Festival returns this summer to bring Homokhátság nights to life once again

The Grasahu indie festival will be back for its seventh edition, taking place at its usual venue, the Pusztaszínház in Üllés, from August 14 to 16, the organizers informed Szegedify.

Just like in previous years, the festival site will transform into a cultural oasis for three days, offering a carefully curated lineup of music and arts programs for attendees.

This year, even greater emphasis will be placed on on-site improvements and fully utilizing the venue’s unique setting. Additionally, Üllés will play a more active role in the festival’s ecosystem, further integrating the local community into the event.

Tickets are expected to go on sale soon, with multiple discounted options available, including student, family, and group passes.

The lineup is still being finalized, with the first names expected to be announced in early March. Alongside returning Grasahu favorites, this year’s program will also feature several bands making their festival debut.

Grasahu continues to provide a refreshing alternative to large-scale festivals – not just for locals in the Great Hungarian Plain but for anyone seeking a unique and intimate experience. The festival’s motto remains:

"Great things don’t just happen in Budapest and its surroundings."

What began as a school project in 2018 has now grown into one of Homokhátság’s most defining indie festivals, evolving and expanding year after year.
