BOLDI and Mózes Incze exhibition opened at REÖK

A joint exhibition of sculptor Boldizsár BOLDI Szmrecsányi and painter Mózes Incze opened on July 13, at the REÖK all-arts center in Szeged.

The exhibition of the two important figures of contemporary Hungarian art, Mihály Munkácsy and Kossuth Prize-winning sculptor BOLDI and Mihály Munkácsy Prize-winning painter Mózes Incze was opened on Saturday afternoon at Szeged's iconic Art Nouveau Building, the Reök Palace. In the exhibit entitled Resonance, nearly 90 works – more than 50 paintings, and nearly 40 sculptures – combining two- and three-dimensional expressions, present contemporary questions about the human body, nature, and sacrality.

The opening ceremony was addressed by Dr. Róbert Nátyi, art historian, dean of the SZTE Faculty of Arts, and chief curator of the REÖK. The exhibition was opened by Attila Turi, President of the Hungarian Academy of Arts.

The Resonance exhibition will be displayed until September 1, 2024, and can be visited with an entrance ticket during the opening hours of the REÖK all-arts center.
