Serbian Film Day at Belvárosi Mozi
The Serbian Film Day will be held at Belvárosi Mozi on Friday, March 22, 2024.
With the support of Europa Cinemas and Creative Europe Media, the movie theaters of four neighboring countries cooperate in order to bring the cinema closer to the young audience and at the same time promote European films.
In the frame of this cooperation the Serbian Bioskop Eurocinema, the Croatian Kino Velebit, the Slovenian Mestni Kino Ptuj, and the Belvárosi Mozi in Szeged participate in a Collaborate to Innovate program titled Regional Synergy for New Cinema Going Experience.
Among the cooperating countries, Serbia will be introduced first. On Serbian Film Day on March 22, Belvárosi Mozi will welcome those interested with a film and cultural history presentation and typical Serbian snacks. The event will feature a selection of short films shot by Serbian and Hungarian youths and two new Serbian movies chosen by them, which appeal most to their age group. The films will be screened with original sound and Hungarian subtitles. The Serbian Film Day also features a talk with the producer of one of the films to reveal behind-the-scenes details of Serbian filmmaking.
