Belvárosi Bridge closed for car traffic between July 31 and August 18

Belvárosi Bridge will be closed for car traffic between 7 a.m. on July 31 and 8 p.m. on August 18, 2023.

During the maintenance works, the dilatation and the necessary drainage on the bridge's Újszeged part will be improved, as well as parts of the bike lane — reads the announcement of the Szeged Environmental Nonprofit LLC.

During this period, you can cross the bridge on foot or by bicycle. Public transportation vehicles, ambulances, fire trucks, and police cars will also be allowed to use the bridge during the closure.
