10th Deja Vu Festival kicks off tomorrow in Szeged

The 2023 Deja Vu Festival, featuring famous international and Hungarian bands and DJs of the '90s and 2000s, is held again in Szeged on the first weekend of June. The 10th edition of the retro music festival brings live performances by international stars like Dr. Alban, Panjabi MC, Eiffel 65, Safri Duo, Inna, and Thomas Anders, among others, to the City of Sunshine.

As it is was the case last year already, Deja Vu will be totally cashless, leaving festival-goers with two choices — paying with a credit card (or phone) or the dedicated Festipay card that can be obtained on the spot, charged with money, and the remaining amount can be redeemed in the end. The reusable cup is also a returning element: after obtaining one of these festival cups, it will be exchanged for a clean one at each new drink purchase.

Festival beats will conquer the classic spot of the city — the same place where the SZIN festival is located each year — the Partfürdő on the Újszeged bank of the river Tisza, with gates opening at 5 p.m. on Thursday, and 4 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. Closing time is 4 a.m. on all three days.

At the time of writing, day tickets and VIP upgrades were still available to purchase online.
