The Szeged Botanical Garden (Füvészkert) celebrates its 100th birthday on Saturday, October 8, with a family day. Programs will include a stamp-collecting game, kids’ concerts, a photo exhibition, and a birthday party.

Annamária Szilágyi and Krisztián Gömöri, actors of the National Theater of Szeged, will read from the entries submitted to the University Poetry Competition, announced by the SZTE Cultural Office in honor of the 100-year-old Füvészkert.

The last program of the day, a concert by the famous Kaláka Band, will start at 3 pm.

The event can be visited with regular entry tickets.
