SZTE Autumn Cultural Festival Opening 2022
The opening ceremony of the 26th Autumn Cultural Festival of the University of Szeged takes place on Monday, October 3, between 5 and 9 p.m.
Programs:
The Suhancok folk dance ensemble opens the program at 5 p.m. in front of the Rector's Building.
At 6 p.m., a press photo exhibition about SZTE opens in the Atrium of the Rector's Building, showcasing the works of Anna Bobkó, István Sahin-Tóth, and Dóra Molnár. Dr. Judit Fendler, chancellor of the University of Szeged, will open the Autumn Festival.
The press photo exhibition can be visited until December 20, every workday from 8 a.m. until 8 p.m.
Csillagom..., a concert of singer, violinist and composer Edina Mókus Szirtes and beatboxer János Fekete, a.k.a. Jammal, starts at 6:30 p.m., in front of the Rector's Building. The duo will perform a deeply emotional concert about joy, sorrow, struggle, and the all-encompassing deep, deep love.
At 7:30 p.m., a special light painting - a traditional program of SZTE's Autumn Festival - will illuminate the Rector's Building and mark the start of a colorful series of events at a colorful university.
The last program of the evening, a surprise concert, will start at 8 p.m.
