Essentially Szeged, a podcast series by singer-songwriter Frederik Cornelius, in cooperation with the brunch café ESSENTIALE and the Szegedify Online Magazine, launched this week.

International students and expats - the guests of the Essentially Szeged Podcast - will share their thoughts and views about many aspects of living in Szeged. The series will highlight stories that can be both inspiring and helpful for other members of the international community, and at the same time, interesting for everyone who loves this city.

In the first episode, Frederik talks with Ayman Farouki, who graduated from medicine at SZTE, and moved back to the UK shortly after the interview. Ayman gives us great insight into many of the ups and downs of the 9 years he spent in Szeged, like learning to be independent, the Hungarian language and food, his appreciation for this city, and many more.

You can follow the podcast series on YouTube
