Sculptor and street artist Mihály Kolodko placed a new guerrilla sculpture in Budapest. His new creation on Moscow Promenade, next to the Danube, depicts a Russian warship with Putin's head emerging from it. Unlike his previous mini-statues, this one has a large carved pedestal depicting a middle finger. The finger also has a carved ring motif with the coat of arms of Ukraine.

Kolodko told journalists from 444.hu that he always keeps in mind that small children will also see his statues. That's why he chose to make a stylized finger instead of an evidently obscene hand gesture. Regarding the scale difference of the finger and the warship, he said it is similar in size to a person squeezing some tiny parasite, tick, or flea with his/her finger or nail.

The artist was born in Ukraine, in the city of Uzhhorod (Ungvár). He still has family members and friends living in the country currently under the attack of the Russian army. Mihály Kolodko lives and works in Budapest.
