CBS to shoot crime series in Szeged, casting of extras in progress

The US television channel CBS will shoot the next season of FBI: International in Szeged. According to the agency's post on Facebook, Extras Casting is already looking for extras for the filming in Szeged.

The Facebook post also reveals that filming will start on September 2 and that applications, including a photo and a phone number, should be sent to the email address indicated in the post.

The news was first reported by Szegeder. In their article, they point out that this is not the first time that FBI: International has come to Szeged. In 2021, the first season of the series was filmed mostly in Hungary, with the crew working for months in various locations. The city center of Budapest, the Buda Castle, Tököl Airport, Székesfehérvár and Biatorbágy were also featured in the episodes. The city center of Szeged was featured in the series as Madrid.

FBI: International is the second spin-off of Dick Wolf's FBI series, an American police crime thriller that follows a team of FBI agents who investigate crimes abroad, mainly in Europe, many of them linked to terrorism. The series premiered in September 2021.
