Sounds of Szeged semifinals start this weekend

The semifinals of the first Sounds Of Szeged talent development program, supported by the Coca-Cola SZIN Festival and the University of Szeged, will be held this weekend. The semifinals can be visited for free at the IH Events Center or can be watched via live stream at the Sounds of Szeged Facebook page – the organizers shared in a press release.

The talent development program launched in May by the Coca-Cola SZIN Festival and the University of Szeged offers amateur musicians with ties to Szeged the opportunity to develop their musical careers. The winner of the competition will receive a mentoring program, the opportunity to perform, and other rewards.

The finals will take place in the first half of July at the IH Event Center. A jury consisting of professionally recognized Hungarian musicians, managers, and program organizers will await the contestants, and the audience can also vote for their favorite.

The organizers will award prizes to the first three places, and in addition to the prizes, each of them will have the opportunity to perform at the Coca-Cola SZIN Festival on the SZTE Stage.

The semifinals and the finals of the Sounds of Szeged talent program will be held at IH Event Center (IH Rendezvényközpont). Entry is free.
