University of Szeged signes partnership agreement with Pasteur Institute

The University of Szeged has signed a partnership agreement with the world's most well-known and influential health research base, the Pasteur Institute, on April 18 in Szeged, the university announced in a press release.

The SZTE Albert Szent-Györgyi Medical School is now announcing possible internship application places at the Pasteur Institute for 3-6 months, in accordance with a cooperation agreement established previously between the two institutions.

The Pasteur Institute in Paris takes part in the ERASMUS+ program, has its own educational center, and is the partner research organization of the Université Paris Cité. All of this makes it possible to conclude an ERASMUS bilateral contract with the institute, even for professors' mobility. Thus, researchers and lecturers coming to Szeged from the French side can also receive ERASMUS support.

We are pleased to be able to strengthen our ties with an outstanding university in the fields of education, research, healing, and innovation - Dr. Monica Sala, head of the education department of the Pasteur Institute, said at the meeting on Tuesday. She added that the institute considers it very important that young researchers and students meet through mobility programs and that their cooperation becomes even more effective, so both institutions can make the best use of their strengths for the benefit of humanity and society.
