2023 IHF Men’s World Handball Championship live broadcast in Hungary

The 2023 World Men's Handball Championship will take place between January 11-29 in Poland and Sweden. This will be the 28th men's tournament organized by the International Handball Federation.

In Hungary, the matches of the 2023 World Men's Handball Championship will be broadcast live on the M4 Sport channel and can be watched - with Hungarian narration - both on TV and online.

The 2023 World Men's Handball Championship

The 32 competing teams of the 2023 IHF Men’s World Championship will play at nine venues across the two hosting countries. The tournament opens in Katowice, where the co-host Poland will play the first match with France.

Denmark, the current world champion will play their first match against Belgium, on the third day of the Championship, January 13.

All 32 teams will play three games in the preliminary round before the top three teams in each of the eight groups proceed to the four-group main round on January 18. The two best-ranked teams of each main round group qualify for the quarter-finals, which will start on January 25.

Szeged handball players at the 2023 World Championship

The Hungarian National Team includes five players from Szeged - Bence Bánhidi, Richárd Bodó, Roland Mikler, Miklós Rosta, and Zoltán Szita. OTP Bank-Pick Szeged players Bombac, Mackovsek, Blonz, Radivojevics, Martins, Garciandía, and Sostaric are also scheduled to take part in the World Championship, all in their home country's national team.
